Here we have a plain charm from Koudaiji that I got last summer. Koudaiji was established by Toyotomi Hideyoshi's wife, Kita no Mandokoro. Toyotomi Hideyoshi was the second of the three unifiers of Japan and was responsible for many government policies that would support the Tokugawa Shogunate throughout Japan's isolation. Koudaiji contains a famous portrait of Hideyoshi, as well as a bronze bell dating back to 1606.
